My practice is always flexible and specific to your individual needs. To begin with, an initial assessment is vital for me to fully understand your current situation. Your first session will give you the opportunity to discuss your particular circumstances and help us to begin to put together an accurate idea of what's causing these problem areas in your life. This will direct a tailored approach to your psychological care involving appropriate interventions and healthy coping strategies to empower you to move forwards with your life.

Your first session will also give you the chance to ask me any questions so you can make sure that I am the most appropriate person for you. If this is not the case for any reason, I will happily make recommendations and referrals that are more specifically tailored to you.

Following on from your first session, I draw upon a range of approaches from cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), interpersonal therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Skills, EMDR, and Mindfulness, all within a trauma-informed, neurodiversity affirming, and solution-focused framework. My values define both my practice and myself and my practice is continuously evolving. There is no therapist mask, voice, or posture when I enter a consulting room. I am me and I believe this gives you the best chance to be you.”
